POTTY TRAINING GUIDELINES FOR THE TWO AND HALF YEAR OLD CLASSES!

The following are First Presbyterian Preschool’s guidelines for what we describe as potty trained:

• Your child recognizes the physical need to use the bathroom.
• Your child can undress himself/herself with little assistance.
• Your child knows how to maneuver himself/herself to get on the toilet.
• Your child knows how to clean themselves after using the potty with no assistance.

While we are always here to assist your child in this process and understand that accidents are a part of this age, in no way are we taking on the responsibility of actually training your child. NO PULL UPS are allowed and if your child has more than three accidents during a short period of time we may ask you to take a week off to concentrate on this skill.

We hope you understand that we are trying to foster a learning environment for your child. Please sign the form below and return it to the office to be kept on file.
